Continuant à pratiquer et à enseigner, il est devenu dojocho de l’Orange County Aikikai en 2009, obtenant la certification Yondan de Robert Kubo de l’Aikido Hawaii International.
En 2010, l’OCAK a accueilli un séminaire dirigé par maître André Cognard, il est devenu évident qu’il avait trouvé son véritable professeur.
En 2015, il a rejoint Robert Ishibashi Shihan de l’Aïkikai de Los Angeles et a travaillé pour faire connaître le Kobayashi Aikido Ryu et les enseignements de Cognard Hanshi et de ses élèves aux États-Unis.
Après avoir suivi le stage intensif à Yagyu, au Japon, en 2019, il a obtenu le grade de Godan de Cognard Hanshi.
En avril 2026, Maître Cognard lui décerne le grade de 6eme dan.
Zitlalpilli « Pilli » Luna est un enseignant STEM à Santa Ana, en Californie, qui se concentre sur les principes de conception scientifique et d’ingénierie et la robotique dans les collèges.
Il est dojocho du dojo Satorishin et membre de Kobayashi Ryu Aikido United States of America.

Zitlalpilli Luna began practicing aikido in Orange, California, in 1990. He earned his Shodan in 1994 under Toyoda Fumio of the Aikido Association of America and Aikido Association International; a member of Aikikai Hombu Dojo.
Continuing to practice and instruct, he became dojocho of Orange County Aikikai in 2009, earning Yondan certification from Robert Kubo of Aikido Hawaii International.
In 2010, OCAK hosted a seminar conducted by master André Cognard, and it became clear that he had found his true teacher. In 2015 he joined Robert Ishibashi Shihan of Los Angeles Aikikai and worked to bring Kobayashi Aikido Ryu and the teachings of Cognard Hanshi and his pupils to the United States.
After attending the intensive internship in Yagyu, Japan in 2019, he was awarded Godan rank by Cognard Hanshi.
In April 2026, he was awarded the rank of 6th dan by Master Cognard.
